Wakoo Tours S.A. (“Wakoo Tours”, “we”, “us”) operates manuelantonioparkguidedtour.com and wakootours.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
When you book a tour or contact us, we collect the information needed to operate your tour: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, hotel or pickup location, number of guests, and — because Costa Rica’s national park system (SINAC) requires it for park entrance tickets — passport number and nationality for each guest.
If you pay online, payment is processed by our booking and payment providers; we never see or store your full card number. Our website also uses standard analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site.
We use your information only to confirm and operate your tour (including purchasing park entrance tickets on your behalf), to communicate with you before and after the tour, to send you the free photos and videos taken during your tour, and — only if you agree — to ask you for a review or send occasional updates. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
We share guest names, passport numbers and nationalities with SINAC (the national park authority) when required to issue park tickets, and minimal booking details with transport providers when your tour includes pickup. That’s it.
We keep booking records only as long as needed for legal and accounting purposes. You may ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to info@wakootours.com.
